Wichita - Fr. Franks' 1K UK Ride
This summer, Fr. Franks, the pastor of Wichita's Mary Immaculate Chapel, will be riding the "LEJOG" in support of the chapel's building fund.
The LEJOG is a bike journey from Land’s End to John o’Groats in the United Kingdom, which covers 1,000 miles. He will be biking through some of the most challenging roads and picturesque landscapes in England and Scotland.
The travel expenses for Father and the equipment have been privately funded, so all donations will go directly to the Wichita church fund!
Fr. Paul-Isaac Franks grew up in Nottingham, England. He attended the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester and Manchester University. It was during the work for his master’s degree that he began attending Mass at a chapel of the SSPX. He was ordained a priest in Winona, Minnesota's St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary by Bishop Alfonso de Galarreta in 2016. Since that time, he has been stationed in St. Marys, KS from where he services the Wichita, KS mission of the SSPX.
Checks can be made payable to Mary Immaculate marked for the building fund, and mailed to: Mary Immaculate Church, 1800 S Washington Street, Wichita, KS 67211
